Mandatory courses for CCR students:

Mandatory courses for clinical PhD students:

  • Clinical Cancer Research. Held once a year (until 2019 every second year). Next time autumn 2019.
  • The Annual National PhD Course. We recommend every year. Mandatory at least once. We offer two different. Your choose the one that is most relevant for your project.

Recommended for clinical PhD students:

  • Mechanisms of Cancer (Tumor biology)

Dates for courses.

  • Mechanisms of cancer (Tumor Biology): April 27 - May 1, 2020 at Kræftens Bekæmpelse, Strandboulevarden 49, 2100 Cph. K. Now open for enrollment - go here.
  • Clinical Cancer Research: November 4-6, 2020 and November 18-20, 2020. 6 days total. Not open for enrollment yet.
  • The Annual National PhD Course in Hematology: No course in 2020. Next course will be in 2021.
  • The Annual National PhD Course in Oncology and Hematology:  March 18-19, 2020 at Nyborg Strand. No longer open for enrollment.

Our research programme

The programme covers research in cancer disease understanding, treatment and diagnosis. The area comprises basic as well as translational and clinical cancer research at hospital or university level including development of new diagnostic tools and treatment methods.
