Field of research:
In my PhD, I focus on paediatric sarcoma research, with an emphasis on treatment intensity and maintenance therapy. I work across both clinical and translational studies, including the development of a novel immunomodulatory maintenance strategy (RESIST), the evaluation of treatment patterns and outcomes through nationwide registry-based cohort studies, and the investigation of circulating tumour DNA (ctDNA) as a diagnostic and prognostic biomarker.

Field of research:
Clinical research in head and neck cancer, with a particular focus on reducing morbidity associated with radiotherapy. My work involves leading and contributing to national randomized controlled trials, as well as regional and local prospective studies and retrospective analyses utilizing Danish clinical databases.

As a clinical hematologist with laboratory background, my research combine genetic and functional characterization of lymphoid malignant cells and microenvironmental cells, MRD testing and diagnostic work up for lymphoid malignancies into designing clinical trials for precision hematology. This feeds into development of extended decision matrices in lymphoid malignancies based on medical Artificial Intelligence modeling of multidimensional big data for testing in clinical trials, thereby improving precision medicine in lymphoid malignancies and beyond.
