Scientific programme

The scientific focus of the programme is cancer research in al its aspects. The aim is to contribute to the scientific education of PhD students to ensure that they are provided with the necessary scientific knowledge and tools to become independent and significant future researchers.

The scientific programme comprises basic as well as translational and clinical cancer research at hospital or university level. Clinical disciplines could be cancer surgery, malignant hematology, radiotherapy, medical oncology, and cancer epidemiology.
